Android Tracker Location Not Updating

Tag01 is not a live GPS tracker. When outside Bluetooth range, location updates depend on nearby compatible Android devices and network availability.

Recommended steps

  • Move near the item if possible and use Play Sound.
  • Check Bluetooth and location services.
  • Confirm the phone has cell service or internet.
  • Open Find Hub / Find My Device and refresh.
  • If nearby, inspect whether speaker holes are blocked.
  • Use the last detected location as a reference, not a guarantee.

Why updates may stop

  • Few compatible Android devices pass nearby.
  • The item is in an underground garage, vehicle, remote area, enclosed space, or heavy metal shielding.
  • Bluetooth or location services are off.
  • There is no cell service or internet connection.

Important tracking limitations

Middle Rabbit Tag01 is a Bluetooth item finder, not a GPS tracker or real-time GPS tracking device. Long-distance location updates depend on nearby compatible Android devices and network availability.

  • The Find Hub network requires Android OS 9+, Bluetooth, location services, and cell service or internet connection.
  • Availability may vary by country and eligible users.
  • Pet and vehicle use is a last-detected-location reference only and cannot guarantee recovery.
  • Do not use Tag01 to track people or items you do not own.

Support FAQ

Why can the location stay old?

The location may stay old when no nearby compatible Android devices pass the item, when Bluetooth or location services are off, or when there is no cell service or internet connection.

Does no update mean Tag01 is broken?

Not necessarily. Tag01 depends on Bluetooth, nearby compatible Android devices, and network availability for location updates outside direct Bluetooth range.
